There is no limit to how many digits an IVR in asterisk can take, Its just the the ones in TRIX must be 1 digit ones, All you need is for one to accept the required number of digits, Then you need to think anout your backend databases, these need to store customer data. So when queried they return the relevent agent to call. Then you need to make the backend databases also store the location of out of office reps. so this also can be matched against the zipcode of the customer.
As to consultants I dont know any in Au. you need to find one local and sit down with them AFTER you have a full spec written out so they can see the full picture and quote accordingly.
